Well we've got two more days of damp weather instore. We're not going to be seeing showers all days, just off and on with breaks in the clouds in between. Here's a look at the simulated Radar from the NAM to Illustrate my point.

Tuesday AM:

Tuesday PM:

Wed PM:

After we get past these few damp days, things are looking much nicer this weekend with temperatures soaring into the 80's. I think we stay mostly sunny for most of the weekend, but we could get some pop up convective thunderstorms in the afternoon on Friday and Saturday.

GFS: Saturday Evening

It's something I'll be keeping any eye in the next few days. After that we have the possibility of some severe weather once a cold front moves through at the middle of next week.

GFS Sunday Evening:

GFS Tuesday Evening:

So what looks to be shaping up is a blast of cooler air wants to work in and set up a front boundary of to our west on Sunday evening. What happens then is it checks up to the north as Low Pressure starts to develop over Texas and Oklahoma and then starts working east. If it is in Texas Tuesday Morning I would suspect we'd see it sometime Thursday. So theres a look at the whats on tap for the next week and a half. We'll talk again tomorrow. Until then take care!

So a serious case of Deja vu is instore for us. A wet start to the week, an amazing end to the week. A little Charlie Brown to talk about our rainy few days ahead.

But much like last week, High Pressure will take hold of our weather at the end of the week... and we might see an 80 degree day before the end of our next week.

I'm on morning shift this week, so I need to cut this a little short. Pack an umbrella today, and we'll talk again soon.

Springy Saturday

Hello one and all, and welcome back to Your London KY Weather. Here is your 5-day forecast.

Sunday: Showers and Thunderstorms are likely, some could be on the strong side. High of 60, Low of 52.

Monday: Showers continue as an upper level trough digs into the eastern half of the US. High of 56, Low 44.

Tuesday: Scattered Showers, Mostly Cloudy skies, and cooler. High of 45, Low of 38.

Wednesday: Scattered Showers and Mostly cloudy skies continue for one last day. High of of 52, Low of 35.

Thursday: Mostly Sunny and warmer in the afternoon. High of 64. Low of 34.

Forecast Discussion:

So things are looking a lot like the beginning of last week for this week. Southern Low Pressure moves through, brings us showers and thunderstorms, and as trough digs in behind it we see an elongated period of scattered showers. And just like last week, things are looking better for the end of this week.
