Record Heat!
Welcome to your weekend everyone. We broke a record high temperature at London/ Corbin airport yesterday!
That's a lot of rain coming in a 3 day period. I think the ground should be able to soak it up with as dry as we're going to be today-Tuesday, but it's something to keep an eye on. Also something tog keep an eye is the possibility of some stronger storms on Wednesday. But don't worry about that now, stop reading and go outside! We'll talk again sporadically the next couple of days as I'm taking a 3-day weekend back home.

Sunny Skies on the Horizon!
Welcome to Wednesday! Hope the soggy weather hasn't gotten you down, but if it has I have good news. Skies will clear by the end of the day, and by this weekend we will see Sunny Skies and Temperatures in the 80's!
Your 5-day Forecast for London, KY
Wednesday: We wrap up the showers and should get to partly cloudy conditions by the end of the day. High of 62, Low of 37.
Thursday: Mostly Sunny and warmer. High of 80. Low of 41.
Friday: Mostly Sunny. High of 83! Low of 52.
Saturday: Mostly Sunny. High of 86, Low of 59.
Sunday: Mostly Sunny. High of 84, Low of 61.
Forecast Review:
Tuesday: Scattered Showers off and on throughout the day. Otherwise we'll be partly to mostly cloudy. High of 56, Low of 44.
Actual: 56, 45. Woo Hoo, nailed this one almost on the dot for both!
Forecast Discussion: Not much to say here besides the fact we'll have one last day of damp weather, and then things are shaping up to be beautiful! A taste of summer is coming for this weekend which will feature temperatures in the mid 80's, and sunny skies. I think that we will not see another chance of showers until the middle of next week, but we'll deal with that in a few days. So just hold on for one more day!
Okay now that obligatory multiple 80's references are out of the way, I'm going to go get ready for the morning show.

Tuesday AM:
Tuesday PM:
Wed PM:
After we get past these few damp days, things are looking much nicer this weekend with temperatures soaring into the 80's. I think we stay mostly sunny for most of the weekend, but we could get some pop up convective thunderstorms in the afternoon on Friday and Saturday.
GFS: Saturday Evening
It's something I'll be keeping any eye in the next few days. After that we have the possibility of some severe weather once a cold front moves through at the middle of next week.
GFS Sunday Evening:
GFS Tuesday Evening:
So what looks to be shaping up is a blast of cooler air wants to work in and set up a front boundary of to our west on Sunday evening. What happens then is it checks up to the north as Low Pressure starts to develop over Texas and Oklahoma and then starts working east. If it is in Texas Tuesday Morning I would suspect we'd see it sometime Thursday. So theres a look at the whats on tap for the next week and a half. We'll talk again tomorrow. Until then take care!

Tuesday: Scattered Showers, drizzle, and mist for another day, with Mostly Cloudy skies. High of 55, Low of 42.

Forecast Discussion:
So a serious case of Deja vu is instore for us. A wet start to the week, an amazing end to the week. A little Charlie Brown to talk about our rainy few days ahead.
But much like last week, High Pressure will take hold of our weather at the end of the week... and we might see an 80 degree day before the end of our next week.
I'm on morning shift this week, so I need to cut this a little short. Pack an umbrella today, and we'll talk again soon.
