Several spotter reporters coming in across Western KY now, almost no snow, almost all Ice. Get ready folks this is going to be mainly an ice storm. Going to have to keep a close on temperatures at the surface and the ground temperature. Here's another link to the KY Mesonet for your current air temps.
No idea about totals now since we're taking snow out of the equation. My guess for London is .10-.25 inches of freezing rain and sleet before we change it over to regular rain tomorrow. More updates coming tonight.
UPDATE: New Precip type maps:

Totals through Wednesday Morning
Some of the models are showing several inches of snow on the back side of our 2nd system Wednesday afternoon-Thursday Morning. I'm not sure if I believe it just yet, but it's a possibility. Depends on how much moisture this 2nd system taps, and how much cold air we can keep it, because to get both together seems like it takes a miracle these days.

You didn't have to upload the county maps there Shane..lol. I can read your maps just fine...But some folks out there are map "challenged""..lol.. those were the ones I was talking about. Great write up. I'll pass the word on about your site to some folks in the London/Somerset/Corbin area. Keep up the good work.
