Hey folks, thanks for stopping by the old weather blog. Just a quick update to get you going for you're work week:
5-day Forecast:
Monday: Start the day as Partly Cloudy, clouds increase and we rain moves in during the morning. Changing to light snow later possibly. Little to no accumulation. High of 46 Low of 32.
Tuesday: Snow is Likely. Temperatures will fall throughout the day. High of 30, Low of 22.
Wednesday: An Upper Level system moves in, bring a chance of snow, espeically out in far eastern KY. Low of 11, High of 24.
Thursday:Mostly Sunny with a Low of 8 and a High of 34.
Friday: Mostly Sunny with a low of 28 and a high near 47.
Forecast discussion: I will issue a final call map in the morning or right around noon. I'm thinking The last map might have underdone snow totals a bit with the newest data coming, it will be somewhere between maps 2 and 3 at this point.
Here's some goodies for you all to keep track of how things are developing.
At this point for our first wave I don't think we get cold enough in London for any snow, could air is just lagging to much behind the precip. Once we get the cold air in place, watch for upper level trough to dig into the state and start putting down some snow. And just for Fun, latest GFS and NAM snowfall total maps through Thursday Morning.
