Forecast Review from yesterday:

Forecast: 39/62
WKYT: 42/45
WYMT: 36/55
WLEX: 44/48
WTVQ: 44/48
NWS: 45/49
Accuweather: 44/52
TWC:30/54

Actual: 32/65

UPDATED ACTUAL LOW 1:45 PM Dec 29. 0uch my low busted hard :(.

Actual low as of 10:18, so it may drop a few degrees. Overall happy with the forecast but really shocked as how much my Monday cast has changed. I don't know if I was looking at the Raw 2m Temps wrong yesterday or what, but a 10 degree jump in a forecast is a bit disturbing.

Forecast Discussion:

Things look pretty straight forward in the short term. Zonal flow of the Jet Stream takes over the first half of the week and things stay pretty calm, and above seasonal averages for temps. A Clipper looks to move through the day after Christmas day. Things are looking pretty active as we move into the first of the year. Some blocking looks to set up over Greenland, which could mean the possibility for some decent snows in our future. No graphics tonight, but hopefully some coming back in the future. Until next time.
